Surrounded

My mind is surrounded by

two feet of confusion;

empty space of misty disorder;

invisible spider-web walls,

enclose me from the world.

People come and talk and

to drag myself from where I am

is too much.

So I stay somewhere else

with her words . . .

so spaced, I can hardly drive.

Two feet of confusion surround my mind;

My eyes are open, but I am blind.

I have met another girl . . .

I have seen another world . . .
